This week some of the Jedis in Reception have been working very hard. We have used lightsabers to Jedi-write in the air and have been using our fingers to write in the sand. This helps us by developing our motor skills and improves our writing work in class.

Reception children celebrated Easter by hearing about how Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins and how he rose from the dead three days later and then went to be with God. The children took part in an Easter Bonnet competition and visited Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classrooms to celebrate the fabulous talent on display. Check out our pictures!

We have been learning about The Last Supper. We learned that Jesus shared bread and wine with his 12 disciples.
