What is Young Voices?

At Bryn St Peter’s C.E. primary school we are very pleased to be taking part in the Young Voices Choir once again. The concert is due to take place at the Manchester Arena on Tuesday, 6th February 2024. We are extremely proud to be part of the largest school choir concert in the world.  For more information see the letter attached below in the file section.

Rehearsals - Choir rehearsals will be every Thursday from 3.15 – 4.30 starting from Thursday 14th September 2023.

Rehearsal dates:

• Thursday, 21st September 2023.
• Thursday, 28^th September 2023.
• Thursday, 5^th October 2023.
• Thursday, 12^th October 2023.
• Thursday, 19th October 2023.

• Thursday, 2nd November 2023.
• Thursday, 9^th November 2023.
• Thursday, 16^th November 2023.
• Thursday, 23rd November 2023.
• Thursday, 30th December 2023.
• Thursday, 7^th December 2023.
• Thursday, 14^th December 2023.

YVatHome - children have full access to the online YVatHome experience via 'My Classmate'.

We've tested the system from the parent side and have had the following excellent help guide suggested:

• Click the above link to create a parent account and add your child's name.
• Click the 'My Children' tab on the left [if using a mobile click on the lines on the left to show the tabs]
• This will display your child's details - copy the access code.
• Log out (using the cog icon in the right hand corner)
• Log back in as your child and enter their access code
• All the resources are available to use.

After you've set up MyClassmate, log in here.  This will take you to the Dance videos, Lyrics videos, Lyrics, YV at home and a Spotify playlist. 

Merchandise

Tshirt bundle priced at £15 (t-shirt sizes do come up small so it might be worth sizing up).

Please note, these t-shirt bundles are not essential, so should you choose not to purchase one, a plain white t-shirt will be required for the day of the performance.

Audience tickets

Parents/carers/children are invited to be part of the audience; all tickets are priced at £23 per person. 

Both T-shirt bundles and ticket orders can be placed through school spider. For the t-shirt pack with there being so many different options of sizes you will need to click into the product ‘Young Voices T-Shirt Bundle (age 7-8)’ then you will see the different variants of sizes, and you can select the size option that you want.

The deadline for all t-shirt and ticket orders is Wednesday 18^th October 2023.
