Year 2 - week 6

Date: 18th Oct 2020 @ 4:38pm

This week Y2 have tried really hard to complete some assessments in Maths and writing, at times they found this a little tricky but everyone gave it their very best efforts and I was proud of everyone.  We completed our Science posters so watch out for those being uploaded to the gallery next week.  I think you will all be very, very impressed and proud.

This week’s award winners include:

The Superstar  winner is Alex.  Alex is a super star this week for completing some excellent maths work linked to using Place Value charts.  He used the charts well to correctly identify tens and ones.  Superb effort Alex!

The Y2 Christian Value winner is Oscar Ball.  Oscar has shown the Christian value of WISDOM.  He's done some excellent research at home and fantastic writing in Science this week when writing his 'How to look after a Royal Python' guide.  Needless to say, if you've any questions on caring for a python, Oscar is definitely the person to answer your question! Impressive knowledge Oscar - Well done!

Keep working hard Year 2! I've seen lots of fantastic things from you all this week so maybe next week you could be our award winners...

A huge thank you to all of the Y2 parents and carers for supporting our 'Wear it Yellow' campaign, it is very much appreciated!
