weekly update 11th Spetember

The children have quickly settled into Year 6 this week and I'm so impressed with their positive attitude to learning and their participation in lessons.  I have been pleased to see so much reading going on at school and at home and we have already had children finishing books and quizzing on them.  We have been talking about being part of a Year 6 community.  In Picture News we saw that there are many communities that we belong to and that communities provide support to one another.

Tell us about some of the communities that you belong to in our class blog.  Maybe you belong to a church community, a football team or you have a strong neighbourhood community.  I can't wait to read your comments.

Celebration assembly

Jessica has earned the star this week for an all round amazing attitude to all her work.

George has earned the Christian Value for responsibility.  He has been an amazing work partner in class.
