Weekly update 9th October

Congratulations to all the children in Year 6 who took part in bikeability this week.  All children that participated successfully completed the coarse and behaviour was outstanding.  The weather was terrible, but the children enjoyed learning new skills with their friends and still came back with smiles on their faces.

In class we have been looking at African art.  We have been creating Benin bronze plaques and creating art in the style of Edward Tingatinga.  Ask your children about the Tingatinga techniques we used.

This week our star is Lillie.  She stood out in the bikeability lessons for a special mention.

And our Christian Value winner is Scarlett.  Scarlett has persevered with her maths work and this week she doubled her weekly maths test score.
