Y6 weekly update 13th November

We have continued with our Geography topic this week on Extreme Earth.  We have been finding out about what causes earthquakes and tsunamis and the devastating effects they have on people and places.  The children created diary entries after exploring this work and we have been calculating the average rainfall and temperature in areas that are on fault lines.  We are looking forward to finding out about volcanoes soon.

This week congratulations go to Ronin and Georgia.

Ronin has achieved the Christian Value for creativity.  He produced some creative writing about how it would feel to experience a tsunami.

Georgia has achieved the star this week for being an amazingly supportive work partner.
